My Joy-fuelled Journey

Hi, I'm Mariella! The hands (and heart!) behind Happy Harvest Play. Creating joyful spaces where little ones can explore, imagine, and grow isn’t just a hobby, it’s where my heart digs deep.

The idea for Happy Harvest Play actually began back in 2018, just before my daughter’s first birthday. While planning her celebration, I had this spark. 

What if I could create something that would grow with her? Something other children could enjoy too? I wanted to introduce her to fruits and vegetables in a fun, hands-on way, and that idea blossomed into our very first harvest-themed play set that we launched on her exact birthday! 🥕🎉

To my surprise and delight, other moms loved the idea too. We were soon booked for parties, events, and photoshoots. Then the pandemic hit, and like many, we had to pause. But that time became a blessing in disguise. While our events were on hold, I dove deeper into the world of early childhood education and completed a course in Montessori. I did the work, fell in love with the philosophy even more, and proudly earned my AMI 3–6 Orientation certification. 🌟

Fast forward to 2025, my little family and I moved to Canada. And with this new chapter came a renewed excitement to bring Happy Harvest Play to even more little ones. I’m thrilled to introduce this joyful, nature-based concept to families here and connect with moms (and dads!) who also believe in giving children the freedom to explore, learn, and grow through purposeful play.
